Gun Ranges
What's Involved?
Responsibilities

Maintaining gun ranges- Repairing target stands, cleaning up garbage at benches, maintaining shooting benches​

Policing the gun ranges- It is the duty of every member of the Green Island Rod & Gun Club to police each other on Club grounds. If you see someone doing something unsafe or against club rules, confront them or take a picture of them and their license plate and contact a director or officer
Equipment
-
Shooting benches- Benches located inside and next to the rifle range shooting house to sight in firearms

Target stands- Wooden frames with belting material in the middle use to staple paper targets to
-
Metal targets- Silhouette and hanging targets at the 200 yd berm

Berms- Mounds of dirt at 50yds, 100yds, 200yds used for back stops
Rules

ABSOLUTEY NO ALCOHOL USE PRIOR TO OR DURING USE OF GUN RANGE

All guns when not in use or someone is down range, must have actions open and safeties on placed on the gun racks on the back wall

Please do your best to hit your targets and miss the target frames

Always shoot in a safe direction. Safety is the most important rule on the gun range
